Seal Films to deliver new 'Lights, Camera, Action!' course at Futureworks

Futureworks is proud to announce the launch of our new Lights, Camera, Action! course, to be delivered by Royal Television Society Award nominees Seal Films.

Lights, Camera, Action! is a three day hands on practical introduction to the Sony Z1 DV Camera, combined with lighting setup and technique - perfect for those with little or no video camera experience, and those with some experience using the Z1 who want formal training.

The team, from Chorley, who feature regularly on our TV & Film Production course are excited about the new course:

" At Seal Films Limited, we pride ourselves on the high quality of work we produce, using our skills and utilising equipment at the forefront of new technology to achieve this. Futureworks share the same outlook, and by bringing these two assets together and sharing them with their students, they provide an incredible service to anyone wishing to work in the media.

By providing links into the industry through their excellent contacts, it means that students are well equipped to start work in the field of media production, whether this is operating in the area of audio, camera or post production, and this benefits both the industry and the student together, as the student is already trained on the equipment by the time they are ready for employment.

We are delighted to be working alongside Futureworks to be delivering a series of workshops, devoted to camera, sound and lighting skills for television in the form of the 'Lights, Camera, Action' training. We are looking forward to the experience of working with and assisting those who would like to learn more about the necessary expertise required for working in the industry, and using the fantastic equipment that Futureworks has to offer. "

Seal Films are a professional video production company brought to life by the creative talents of David Barrow, Nicholas Farrimond and Sean Lovell.
