Heavenly Sword developer to lecture at Futureworks.

Audio Director & Producer John Broomhall will be delivering a lecture in game audio as a part of our Audio Engineering & Production course this October.

John, who will be a regular lecturer on the course, has over 14 years experience of delivering audio for dozens of games and recently finished work on the PS3 title 'Heavenly Sword'. He is former Head of Audio for Microprose, Hasbro and Infogrames/Atari, and is a regular columnist in the much respected games industry publication 'Develop magazine'.

Futureworks' students will gain a valuable insight into the world of game development and the techniques and tools used by professional audio developers, preparing them for entry into the games industry and giving them the edge over their counterparts at other schools.

"This is an excellent opportunity for Futureworks' students to apply their skills in new and rapidly expanding areas of the audio industry. Working with a games audio industry specialist like John Broomhall, audio students can experience first hand the technology used by perhaps the audio industry’s most innovative field."
[Rob Magoolagan, Head of Audio at Futureworks]

The lectures also feature the Wwise® Sound Engine by AudioKinetic, which features on our Computer Games Development course, launching in 2009.
