Games Development Courses

Gaming has become pretty much ubiquitous in recent years. Console gaming is now far more mainstream, whilst smartphones and other handheld devices have brought the gaming experience to a whole new audience. Games development is a multi-billion pound industry, and the biggest games are as much a part of pop-culture as the biggest films and TV shows of the day.

Find your place in the games industry

Developing modern computer games requires programmers, artists and designers who understand the complete development process. All elements of the architecture and design need to work together in harmony, and games are tested extensively prior to release. Big titles can take up to three years to complete, with up to 200 people involved in the development.

Our game development courses, game design courses, game art courses and game programming courses place emphasis on teamwork and project-driven learning, so that Futureworks students graduate with a multitude of skills, spanning numerous platforms and programming languages.

Our game programming courses are the real deal

All of our tutors are experienced industry professionals and, unlike other games courses, which can often be nothing more than 'tweaked' computer science programmes, the courses at Futureworks have been designed from the ground up to deliver the skills and technology used by today's game studios.
