Course Start:

This course runs 6 times a year – please call for details of next start date. This course runs for 6 weeks and is delivered on Saturdays from 10AM - 5PM. Students are also invited to use the facilities on Sundays during this period for personal study / practice or development of your project.

Course Overview

This 6-week course is entirely based around Apple Logic Pro – which is the tool of choice for many producers and sound engineers. It is designed to offer a fast-track route to becoming a Music Producer or Film Soundtrack Composer, and covers everything from the basics of how to put a track together through to the finer points of using virtual instruments, effects and automation to produce a professional-sounding piece of music. The course comprises lectures, workshops and individual practical time if required.

The course is based around Apples' own Logic Certification (Logic 101) and students are encouraged to take their industry recognised exam at the end of the course, there is no additional charge for this but a small amount of additional study may be required.
