Course Overview

This 6-week course is designed to offer a fast-track route to film-making, and covers all you need to know from scripting, lighting, shooting and editing your film to adding effects and outputting it onto a DVD.

The course allows you to get to grips with our HD cameras, lighting rigs and Apple's Final Cut Pro – the tool of choice for many production companies. The Final Cut Pro training is based around Apples own – industry recognised course (FCP101), and comprises lectures, workshops and individual practical/studio time.

Students are entitled to take the Apple Final Cut Pro Certification exam at a later date - a small amount of additional study may be required. The course culminates in a screening of your production in our HD cinema screening room.
If you are a budding film maker, but need help getting on the right track, this course is for you.

* The amount paid can only be refunded against one of our 2 year diploma courses. If you are funding the course by instalments then this amount would be deducted from the final payments.
