Course Overview

This 10-week course is designed to offer a fast-track route to film-making, and covers all you need to know from scripting, lighting, shooting and editing your film to adding effects and outputting it onto a DVD. The course features embedded certified Apple Final Cut Pro training (FCP101), and comprises lectures, workshops and individual practical/studio time. The course culminates in a screening of your production in our HD cinema screening room.

If you are a budding film maker, but need help getting on the right track, this course is for you.

Pre-requisites

Students should have the following prerequisite knowledge prior to attending the course:

• Basic knowledge of Mac OSX operating system

• How to Edit your film using Final Cut Pro
• How to add effects to your film
