Overview
Avid Media Composer video editing software is used for both online and offline editing. Avid systems have been used to create more of the world’s films, television shows and commercials than any other editing system. Media Composer is available as software only, or can be used with Avid Adrenaline media processing hardware, which allows users to work in High Definition.
Avid courses at Futureworks focus on editing, effects, colour correction and finishing at introductory and advanced level, and can be delivered on either Mac or PC. Instructor-led tuition is combined with practical learning using sample material.

Avid PE 239 - Introduction to Colour Correction with Avid Media Composer
Duration: 2 days

Students learn how to colour-correct each shot and create a treatment for an entire sequence. Trainees will learn to use plug-in videoscopes and will be able to ensure that colour and luminance are within prescribed broadcast limits.
