Topics Covered: Introduction to 3ds Max, Primitives, Shapes & Modifiers, Polygon Modelling Techniques, Introduction to Materials and Textures; Texture Tiles, Colour Correction, Masks & Alpha Channel and Texturing 3D Objects using Adobe Photoshop.
Semester 2
Topics Covered: Keyframe Animation, Motion Contraints, Particle Animation and Hair & Cloth Modifiers using 3ds Max; Filters, effects, masks, keying and motion tracking in Adobe After Effects.
Semester 3
Topics Covered: Character Creation and Polygon Modelling Tools in 3ds Max, Facial Modelling and Morphing Techniques, Lip Syncing, Lighting and Cameras, Lens Effect, Motion Blur.
Year 2
Semester 1
Topics Covered: Introduction to Maya, Creating & Editing Primitive Objects, Polygon Modelling Techniques, Materials & Texturing, Character Animation, Skeleton Systems, Character Rigging, Facial Rigging.
Semester 2
